When I try to delete a project (following the instructions in help), the FH window whitens and FH locks up and I have to get Windows to close it. I am using Windows 7 on a desktop and the problem happens with FH 6.0 and 6.1.

Any suggestions?

Thank you for your comments, Mike. I have changed the minimum version of fh to six. I don't think this is a problem because the plug-in is likely to be of most use to new users of fh. I have not actioned your other suggestions at the moment as I don't want to go through a thorough testing procedure ...

I have written a plug-in which does what I wanted for my data file and have applied to upload it to the store in case anyone else may find it useful.

You are right about my mistake.

In your previous post you said "The only solution is to use a Plugin, which has the capability to process the NAME text and read/write the suffix" - does such a plug-in exist?

I used %INDI.NAME:NSFX% which seemed to work in choosing records with non-empty suffixes and showing the suffixes in a column.

I think that FH could interpret the GEDCOM DEAT Y tag by turning OFF the Living flag but not creating a Fact. This would be more useful (to me! and probably others) and is not an incorrect interpretation of the GEDCOM. TNG also uses GEDCOMs and they interpret it as "DIED Yes date unknown". Incidenta...

I have just looked more closely at the screen shot in Mike's response to my original question. In my case (using FH6) the "Buried 2014" text would not be there, so it looks as though I have missed a setting somewhere.

The problem for me is that I am mainly researching the 16/17th centuries when there are few birth or death dates recorded, only christening and burials. So i am looking at a screen on which the biggest boxes are the individual in Focus and his/her spouse and in these boxes it shows me their christen...

If there is a burial date but no death date for a person, the burial date is shown for the main individual at the top of the window and for all his children further down but not (in between) for the individual and his spouse. Is there a reason for this?

Thank you. I had found how to show it (on a separate line) but not realised it could be moved up/down the list.

But what I really wanted was the ID in square brackets after the name in Heading Level 2, as it is shown in the Focus Window.

I would like to have the record ID/RIN shown against each name (heading) in a Family Group Sheet but I cannot find anything in Options to do this.
Does anyone know a way?
