I wish to establish a "Deportation" fact which offers the "to" field, similar to the emigration fact. The sentence template would be something like "{individual} was deported from {_place} to {_place2} {date}<. {note}>"

Any suggestions wd be welcome.

How about something like this (schematically — I haven't thought out the spacing , value, date, etc)

{place} was sold {date}; <{role=seller} was the seller><; {role=buyer} was the buyer>

Thank you, Mark. I feared that was the case. Fortunately, the last edited date will identify most of the people in whom I'm interested.

Is there a query or plug-in which will enable me to see when individuals were first added to FH7? The last edited date isn't quite what I need.

I wish to search and replace text in the notes field, including the paragraph or end-of-line marker at the end of the text. How does one indicate the paragraph marker in the search field?

Calico Pie immediately suggested that my macro was outputting ANSI characters rather than UTF8 text. They were exactly right. I was able to fix it by pasting a UTF8 version into my macro and now all is well.

I would like to print a narrative report with the lines double spaced. I don't see line spacing among the format or page layout tabs in the Report Options box.
