I would agree with Adrian on this. After I upgraded to V7 and started looking at the list of Source Template Definitions I have to admit I was immediately put off by the number of "americanisms" in the names / descriptions that, in all honesty, made little or no sense to me from a genealogy perspect...

It's the way FH7 works now - as soon as you hit the Source button and the window opens, FH creates a new Source record. As there is no Save / OK button you get a blank Source record if you don't add any data. Personally, I think this is wrong but, in essence, that appears to be the way FH works now!

First thing I did Helen! All deleted and the Gedcom file itself dropped slightly in size (as would be expected) based on the multiple backups I took before starting the upgrade and the "Sort" resolution processes.

Current download from the FH site is v7.0.1.2 (as at 22nd Jan!). I ran the install of this and it went through to completion very quickly with no problems - standard "reboot is needed to complete" window shown at the end.
