Re: Sources for Residence
I didn't know where to post my question! I'm not using Ancestral Sources as I don't know where to find it and from the guide it seems a bit complicated to set up bearing in mind that I've FH5 not 3 or 4. Due to previous problems with Ancestry and their FTM2014 I've migrated to FH5 and have uploaded ...

Sources for Residence
I want to know how to combine sources for residences on the censuses? I've one man married to a lady and they both lived at the same address through the 1871-1911 censuses and so did some of their children. How can I use only 1 source citation for all the family, instead of duplicating them and amen...

Re: Source lists
Thanks again for all your help; I'm very pleased with FH5 and prefer it to FTM2014, it loads quicker and is faster in all respects coping with my 13000 plus names.

Re: Source lists
Thanks for the info. Why can't people facts/sources be combined with occupation facts? One of my people emigrated and on the log it said the date she emigrated, her address at the time anf her occupation but according to FH5 I can't copy the citation from the emigration fact to the occupation fact; ...

Source lists
Hi again -is there a way of getting a list of people's names that haven't got sources/citations attached to them in a-z order? When I used FTM it corrupted a lot of my sources and info so now I would like to correct it.

lists on start up
As a newbie to FH5, I'd like to know how to change the way my list of names starts up. Currently it brings up the surnames by relationship order. I'd like to see them in A-Z order so that I can research them in order and then is there a way to revert to the other list?

Import from FTM2014 number of Names
I'm a new user to FH5 from FTM2014 and don't understand how when I finish my research and have say 9999 names, the next time I load the program it says I've only 9989 names on it? Currently I back up my latest file and then reload it after start up as I don't want to lose my research but surely ther...
