Short cuts to repositories
Is there a way to limit the repository names to the most used rather than going through the whole list to get names beginning with Y?
My tree being over 30,000 now has lots of repositories that are rarely used and mainly one-offs.

Re: Occupation in main fact box
This works OK for an individual but is it not possible to use the preferred fact for the whole tree of people as a blanket choice say of the last occupation rather than first? I've got over 30000 people in my tree and this will work even harder!

Occupation in main fact box
Why does FH default to the first census so as to record the person's occupation? Mostly it records them as a scholar? Why can't it default to the last census occupation?

DNA Query Report
I have a fact set called DNA and in there I put the amount of DNA shared. Is it possible or is there a Query that will show all these DNA matches if I ask for it?

Re: Printed reports
Had a reply from CP which says: Just to be clear, you can change the name before you save the file. If you use the technique you have described to save a report as a PDF file ("use Print... (or File > Print...) with the Printer Name: Family Historian PDF?") a window will be displayed with the full f...

Illegitimate Births
Is there a way of indicating that a person was born 'out of wedlock' on AS? Some of my ancestors had illegitimate children, sometimes the father was named, sometimes not.

Re: Printed reports
Thank you Mike, I can see it now. In this case the PDF printer driver is not under Family Hi...

I posted to CP but they didn't reply.
Another problem is that when I enter my name in the right header in the report it doesn't stay there but after a few weeks, it disappears. Is there a way of making it stay there forever?

Re: Birth places etc on Censuses
Mike, my tree is upwards of 29000 people now and obviously there are a lot of birthplaces involved with them, Hastings is a popular place in my tree but none of the people in the Hunslet census had anything to do with Hastings, the 1st one was born in Bermondsey and the rest in Hunslet.

Re: Birth places etc on Censuses
Yes, I saw that suggestion, Mike, but as I've just tried it, it doesn't work properly or it doesn't for my tree as if I just type in H I only wanted Hunslet (from the previous child's birthplace) but got Hastings instead!

Re: Birth places etc on Censuses
I only want to have a drop-down arrow not a list of places within it. In my case, I find that very often on the censuses, the people that I add have the same birthplace starting with the head down to the last person/child. If there was a drop-down arrow, it would save me typing the same place for al...
