For some reason I can now add/edit - I have no idea why I was having problems previously, but it looks like it has sorted itself out!

Add note about the individual

Just ran a Validate - no errors found.

When I try to enter a note (or amend one already set up) the letters that I type immediately disappear!

I am attempting to add Notes in the Note tab. I haven't tried anything else - one thing at a time!

VALIDATE?

I have reported a fault through the system.

I cannot amend any notes, nor can I initiate any new notes - !!!!!

I have now completed the export to TNG and, despite my site listing the 58 photo's (it took approx 5 mins to migrate on FTP) I cannot see them - and get a "404" error message. Is that something that is easy to fix?

Many thanks for trying anyway. I guess I will have to upload all my photo's from my pc to FH, link them to individuals, and then export from FH to TNG using the Plug-in.

I was hoping that someone had an alternative "master" plan.

I am in the process of transferring from Tribal Pages (TP) to TNG - after viewing recent comments on the Guild of One Name Studies - it appears to be more in line with what I want. Thanks Mike - much clearer. Again I attach a snapshot (for what it's worth) of the garbled sources - in the Records Window - now expanded. I say for what it's worth because they all quote "0" Citations whereas at one time I'm sure there must have been a good number of each. Again, I'd be interested ...

Mike (and Jane), I've just completed the search and replace - most dates are now sorted - there is a small number (e.g. shown as "BET Jul 1877 and Sep 1877") that wasn't replaced but I'm sure I can sort that now. Mike, When I went into Notepad to open up the files, the only "Text" Files I could see were the top 4 that were shown in my previous attachment of the FH Projects Folder - they were all listed as Type "File Folders". It is - as you suspect - not a Project as such! For whatever reason between 2010-12 during 3 house moves, chaos reigned. Not making excuses but it's fact! so I assume this is the V3 style "stand alone"
