I long since learnt that some seemingly complex suggestions just need a small tweak or a feature turned on, and vice versa. If you don't ask/suggest you don't get.

Throwing out another "possibility": Get rid of all the sections, but use categorie(s) instead. Mike these are before and after v3.2.5 plugin, by chance it also has some commas that it treats as columns. So, it had been treated for both bar and comma.
