Can any body remember how to FTP to Rootsweb..
I've lost my settings for IPSwitch and ned to upload replacement info.
Rootsweb confuses me with Freepages and Communities etc
The hierarchies overlap.

I've repeated my teset with 6.2.4 and it creates the website OK even with the the picture settings back on the defaults.
So problem solved.

Not sure what you mean there. I attach a txt version of the first family (had to rename it as I could'nt attach an html file) This shows the gibberish This file fam4.html is correctly linked to from index.html I did notice during the wizard that it appeared to be doing the final creation step twice....

I last uploaded my website 30 Mar 2016.
Used the create wizard today to build a new version and I have hit a problem.
All the files are corrupt (ie contain gibberish) except for Index, contact and Nameindex

Any thoughts?

It was the second and it nearly worked.
what I had to do in the past tense box was change "was" to "was Executor at"

It's fixed it.
Loaded nearly 19K files in 11 hours!
That's my wife's tree up for the first time from FH.
Now I need to refresh mine after over a year.

It is a year since I last used this plugin.
When attempting to load a new site I get an error after creating the settings.
I attach a screen grab of the error message.

Is it a bug or have I missed something?

I am confused by what seems to be an unnecessary use of ribbons. See attached PDF. I would like to recombine the common ancestors in this diagram. The treatment as duplicates seems unnecessary. I downloaded the ZIPfile from the archive and unzipped it to a folder in Documents I tried Open With. Changed the default program to FH (It was Notepad) and double clicked Both gave same errors. Been out for half an hour Now I've tried double click again and it opened Tutorial 6 OK !!! I don't know ...

I downloaded the PDF and the tutorials.
Double clicking the GED files gives error messages about created in another application and gives an empty project.

I've got a strange output from the Individual Summary Report.
In the attached PDF two items from Education are overlapped.
Looks like a problem inserting Age with a full Date Range.

The settings were OK 27 Jan on v5 but had reset by today.


I hadn't created or imported any new projects.
Just our tests with the upload wizard.

I created the website 22 Jan before I started to look at the FTP Plug-in.
I've since upgraded to 6.0.1 and the today to 6.0.2.
I'm repeating the create to see what I get.

Just noticed a bug? in the item index.html when I created my web site with V6
It says Created with Family Historian 5.
I've now manually changed it with Notepad.

I can't see where that item is created.
