Exception Report when upgrading from v5 to v6
I have been a FH user for many years, having started with v2, and have just upgraded from v5 to v6 by means of the upgrade download. As soon as I had installed the v6 download, I received an Exception Report, which is something I haven't come across before. There were about 25 items listed, all expr...

Re: Reinstalling Ancestral Sources on a new computer
Thanks Mike, that's all very useful. I think I'm ok with my FH transfer as I haven't customised any settings etc but I will certainly follow your advice for Ancestral Sources. Then when I create the source title I can...

Re: Multimedia object titles
You can use a plugin to change them. I have done a very quick one which is below. PLEASE Check what it does to your data very carefully and use the Edit>undo option if it's not what you want. Set Source Media Titles to Source Title.fh_lua Thank you Jane, I'll give it a try over the weekend. I'm new...

Multimedia object titles
I have been using AS for my census, baptism and marriage records for some considerable time. I have just realised that I may not have been consistent when choosing titles for the resulting multimedia objects. My preference is for the title to match the source title, whereas I have some which match t...
