Re: Notes list view
Thanks Mervyn & Mike Both solutions work - especially the plugin It would be great if this became part of the core application in some future upgrade as it is so useful. In many other applications, a "right click" on a record provides options to view related records, which is very useful. Mike - do ...

Notes list view
Hi
I'm struggling to find a way to work out which entity an existing note relates to.
From the listing of notes: How can I tell which individual the note is attached to?
Thanks
Andrew

Re: Backup and Restore Family Historian Settings
Thanks Mike(!) That looks like the problem - as you say, I'm running a standalone .GED file rather than a project. I went this way many years ago as I wanted to keep a particular folder structure for all my supporting images, docs etc. Could I convert into a FH project, and get the project to recogn...

C:\ProgramData\Calico Pie\Family Historian\Map\Cache (Windows 10 folder)
Hi I have been doing a lot of work over many months updating and fixing lat/lons for many Places. My Map\Cache folder now has 121,000 files ! (small PNG map images) Capture.JPG 1. Is this likely to create a performance issue if they keep growing? 2. What would happen if these cache files were delete...

Note Records - finding linked records?
Looking at the list of Note Records, it has a column "Links" which shows the number of records it is linked to. How do I find out which record(s) each one links to? (If I look at Media Records listing, I can expand each one to see exactly which records they are linked to. But I can't do the same wit...

Narrative reports - source images & citations on same page?
Hi I have increased the size of Source Pictures on my Narrative reports to max 4" x 6.5". I have the picture "Location" setting as "below each citation". However, when the narrative report paginates it does not always keep the Citation and Picture on the same page. So I can end up with the citation ...

Customised Narrative Reports - file location?
Thanks everyone [smile]
(Reason for asking is that I mirror all my geneology data to a backup PC, and wanted to take my report customisations with that data)

Customised Narrative Reports - file location?
Hi
What is the folder location for the configuration file for Narrative Reports? (ie where I've amended Narrative Report Options)
I can find the folders for most other customisations, but not this one!
Many thanks
Andrew

Diagram options - possible bug?
Hi Tatewise
Many thanks. Silly me - I'd forgotten to re-sequence the records.
Works like a charm now! [smile]

Diagram options - possible bug?
Hi I've customised diagram options to display ALL census enries and the LAST occupation. However, when they are displayed, I am not getting the LAST occupation(I'm getting the second!), and the presence occupation also seems to be affecting the sort order of the census entries (see below). http://ww...
