In finder go to Documents/Family Historian Projects/Morrison.fh_data and see if the Morrison.ged file is there.
Report back on what you find as then we may well be able to help.

Re: Web site layout
You need to understand how CSS works which from what you have said you may not understand the nuances. CSS stands for Cascading Style Sheets. What that means is that they are processed in order. If the CSS in your new files is not being honoured it means that the styles are coming from some other fi...

This is CP's reply
We will log this as a request for consideration.
In the meantime you could create a plugin to download those images locally as long as they are not behind a fire/pay wall.

Re: Problems Running FH V6 with Crossover on Mac
Irene I think that you may well end up deleting your project files if you delete Crossover. It will depend on where you stored your project files. If you used the standard My Documents folder then that is mapped to the Mac Documents folder so check to see if your project files and backups are stored...

Re: Ancestral Sources and Crossover V 20
Diane Following on from what Mervyn said I would advise a 32bit bottle and for both and install the dotnet framework in that bottle too not in a separate one. I was one of the beta testers for v7 and the above setup worked fine. Due to the issues with tables and reports in Crossover I have remained ...

Re: Import gedcom with photos from online url
Colin, it is a fairly common requirement. Users regularly ask why media does not import from online family trees. However, it is unusual that no login credentials are needed. Your supplier must have a completely public website. Perhaps you could report the problem to Calico Pie and see what they sa...

Re: Import gedcom with photos from online url
The gedcom I was sent had links to the website of the supplier of the gedcom so no login or credentials were required BUT it was an https:// url. I was able to download the images and then re-associate them but when other packages can handle it it is surprising, to me, that native FH can't when it c...

Import gedcom with photos from online url
I have been sent a gedcom which has images included using the OBJE tag with a reference to an online URL.
I have found that by default FH does not import these images. Is there a way to force it to as I have found a couple of other programs that do go off and grab the images (My Family for instance).

Clooz makes horrible Gedcoms they cause me no end of problems with my Wordpress plugin. They produce one of the least compliant Gedoms in my experience.

Re: Import of V6 gedcom file into V4 fails
She has probably just copied the gedcom file from her computer. She needs to export it from her version of FH6 as the FH6 native version of the gedcom won't be compatible with your FH4. Tell her to do you an ANSI format export chosen from the drop down top right of the export dialog. The utf8 export...

Re: Testing Plugins for V6 and V7
Does anyone have any other technical solution s for running V6 and V7 in parallel. Assume licencing is not an issue -- I'm sure that if a plugin author using V7 asked FH for permission to run V6 for testing purposes, there wouldn't be an issue. One way would be to run Wine on Windows saves the cost...

You can possibly enable something similar yourself.
Take a look at https://www.thesitewizard.com/apache/pa ... tory.shtml it runs you through creating a password protected directory on a webserver.

Nick
Just FYI I have a certificate from 1986 and 1991 they are the same as yours. I have one from 2008 and the order is reversed as per the OP. So somewhen between 1991 and 2008 they must have changed the order.

Re: 1939 Register
Colin I don't know about a difference between the two. Redaction was done before the Register was made public on FMP. It is updated and certainly I have seen entries in the weekly email from FMP when additional records are un-redacted (if that is a word). I have also done searches on different dates...

Re: Will Version 7 be available on a CD
Calico Pie are the only ones who can definitively answer this question. However, it is highly unlikely as those who usually sell it on CD are only selling the download option. You can copy the install file to any media not just CD. I keep multiple copies on a couple of external drives and my NAS jus...

Re: Ancestral Sources Data Entry plugin issue
Mike Thanks for that. I misread where to put the code  I have updated to AS v7.0.15 that was released last night. The Message box pops the right record number and AS also has the individual correctly chosen now. So as a result it may just have been OOTT that struck me a couple of times. It now...
