I assume you mean you have found a family on the Census - in which case I recommend you download Nick Walker's gedcom programme from this site in downloads - it makes entering census information easy (and the new version is just out).  You have to enter the names of all the family into FH first but ...

I don't think this is a bug - it enables one to change what the sentence says.  the only caution is that one must be careful not to delete the field names. It only seems to change that one individual's sentence for the specific event, I think, and not globally for everyone's event.   For example '{i...
