Problem reading image.
Nick,
Using Win7.
I snap AS to the left of my screen and the image to the right but nothing happens. AS just sits there and is not reading the image and entering the necesary details in to the boxes. For some unknown reason I have to do it manually, it's very wearing on the fingers. [wink]

No kidding. Names changed for example. Joe Bloggs deserted from the Royal Navy and changed his name to Joe Smith. His service records show his real fathers name, Bert Bloggs. Four years later he married Jane Doe, on the certificate the fathers name is Stan Smith. For the rest of his life he used Smi...

The ISP for the site you are uploading to may not allow spaces or other charactors such as *&^%$£'!)( in the file name. You should get some sort of error message when uploading telling you the file has not been uploaded.

Hi, Rickoshea.
I'm afraid you're going to have to provide some specifics if you truly want assistance; asking for data on one entire surname in a whole country is a bit too much for anyone to be able to provide, unfortunately.

Is there a limit to the number of characters in a file name in v4. I want to include the full names and dates for image files. Eg. MC - Smith Cecil Thomas and Fairweather Jean Samantha (1995).

Hi Jan,
Thanks for your offer.
Waiting on delivery of 2 Wills from the late 1500's, I expect they will be in Latin. If they are decipherable and in Latin will scan and send.
