I'm trying to create a custom version of the All Relatives query to include the parents of relatives by marriage.
I'm generally familiar with queries, but not particularly good with expressions and am struggling with this one
thanks for any advice
Simon

Re: Method 1 or 2
FH7 has introduced an Essentials Census return Template with a data entry assistant as an alternative to using AS. Ancestral Sources also allows you to use the Essential Collection census return template if you wish but has the added benefit of the AS census grid to enter the data, methods to 'auto...

Re: What is main difference between version 6.27 & version 7
This raises an in interesting question for your U3A members. The general principle of always upgrading to the latest version is good, but cost is obviously a factor. There's no doubt that for new users, and for current users who may not have done much research but who are planning to do a lot more, ...

I've manually transcribed most of these as text from source and many of the document images are either ...

Android phone for field research
As a long time user of FH who's recently bought an Android phone (HTC Wildfire), I thought I'd share my experieces Following up Jane's advice re Android on the iPad thread I downloaded Family Bee (£6.30) and Dropbox (Free for 2GB max) from the Android Market, and I have to say, it has transformed my...

It worked o.k. for me.
You have to flag the relevant people first. I did this by downloading the WebClean query from the Query Store on this site, ran the query and then from the query menu icon, took 'Set Flag on result set records'
v.3 well worth waiting for, thank you.
