Is your project name a long one? You could try renaming it to make it shorter. Close the current project and right-click on the project you wish to rename and select 'Project Properties'. Then change the name to something short and press OK.

If the subject interests you, try typing 'McAfee false positives' into Google - there's plenty of stuff on it.  The problem is by no means limited to McAfee, of course.

This has been reported to us, and we in turn have reported it to McAfee as a false positive.  Unfortunately, although they do not advertise the fact, it is quite common for anti-virus programs to make incorrect reports like this. Hopefully McAfee will fix the problem soon.

Ian - I think you must be looking at the spec for DRAFT Release 5.5.1.  In this spec, Multimedia records do have source citations.  However, 5.5.1 was only ever released as a draft - it was never adopted.  The last official release of GEDCOM is version 5.5, and in that version Multimedia records do ...

You are quite right.  It is a bug and it will be fixed in the release.  You can work around the problem for now by delaying pasting the Text From Source information until you have opened a separate edit window in Step 6.  If you do that, you won't get the double line spacing.

Steve - there is no 3.2.  The latest version is 3.1.2.  Is that what you meant? As Jane says, it sounds like a resource error - i.e. your PC is getting over-stretched.  As you have Windows 98, I'm guessing that you don't have a very powerful machine.  How much memory do you have?  I'd recommend not ...

Richard - one other thing.  You say that your tried to revert to installation settings without success.  And it is true that your 'More Dimensions' settings are not the default ones.  If you are in Diagram Options, clicking on the Installation Settings button only applies to the tab you are viewing....
