Re: Census Summary Line

Thank you Jane.

Can you please tell me what is wrong with this:

{=TextIf( %FACT.DATE% = DateAt(1939,9,29), "1939 Register",{%FACT.DATE:YEAR%} Census)} {place}

I end up with:

Re: Census Summary Line

Thanks for the rapid help.

Incidentally, is there a function to derive the year from {date} if I wanted to say "1891 Census" in the record window?

Re: Census Summary Line

Thanks. Profile updated. It is only Census and yes, I have made the changes to accommodate the 1939 Registration as detailed at ancestralsources:family_historian_census_event_for_uk_1939_register|> Family Historian Census Event for UK 1939 Register . Looking at it again, I see that it omits the date.

Census Summary Line

I have just returned to my Family History now that the 1939 Registration is available. I may be imagining it, but I am fairly sure that on the Individual Records Window, an unexpanded Census line would include the year, eg "1851 Census in Manchester, Lancashire, England" but now, no year is shown so...

Typo in Ancestors by Generation Report

The Fact Set is called Name Changes as also used for Adopted Name, Deed Poll and Married Name. Birth Name seems to be the only one with this template. The others just use 'individual', eg '{individual's} adopted name was {date} {place}'

Typo in Ancestors by Generation Report

Thanks Jane.

It says '{individual/him/her} birth name was {date} {place}' but I am sure I have not changed it from the default. I guess I need to go through them all and check them lol.

Typo in Ancestors by Generation Report

I have just produced the Ancestors by Generation Report and the subject has a Birth Name. The report says 'Him birth name was ....' instead of His.

Duplicate facts

Many thanks Mike. I have updated to v1.3.

One minor point, it only works if the duplicated facts are adjacent. Nevertheless, it is very useful for tidying up a project.

Duplicate facts

Thanks Mike. The plugin also flagged up some records where there was no obvious duplication so I need to investigate what is happening there. Yes, Jane, the facts were complete duplicates in every respect. I would only expecct this to happen if I had used copy and paste so I am a bit unclear how it ...

Duplicate facts

I think there must be a gremlin at work because I have suddenly noticed certain facts being duplicated for an individual but I have no recollection of doing a copy and paste. A residence fact, an adoption fact, a marriage fact are suddenly duplicated. I have seen queries for checking for duplicate s...

v5.0.9 Crashing

Jane

The program just freezes instead of saying 'The selected field will be deleted' then says it has to close. It doesn't happen every time but next time it does I will let you have more details.

Does anyone else get a problem with this version of FH crashing when trying to delete an entry such as a Note?

All Entries Diagrams

I would like to print all individuals in a GED File as a Tree. At the moment I have to use other Programs to do this (eg GRO) but the results are not entirely satisfactory.

Is there a chance that FH may offer this ability at a future date?
