Strictly you are correct: FH claims compliance with GEDCOM 5.5. Yet the 'draft' 5.5.1 (which has been floating around since 1999!!!) extended RESN to Families and Events. And other vendors have gone the whole hog and simply allowed it to apply to any record (e.g. source, etc.) Hence this is a 'wish'...

Here's a wish (and applies to post-V3 also!): Comprehensive use of the RESN tag. As I understand the standard, any event, person, source, etc, should be taggable with RESN. In FH it seems limited and arbitrary what can be tagged. Also, it's tucked away as an 'LDS' option (well, isn't the whole Gedco...

Thanks for replying. I thought the answer might be 'no'. But it's good to know that with more certainty - there's nothing worse than spending time and effort creating a solution and then finding out that clickity-click on the right menu option would have achieved the same thing!!
