I am using v5.0.9. All boxes and unticked and no notes are marked private. No notes have transferred.

Do I understand that the _NOTE field only applies to the Multimedia?
I have not been able to transfer the note fields shown in the property box ie the main notes for each person.

I am trying to open a FH. ged in Legacy. I get the following not recognised
_AREA
-FILE
-KEYS
-NOTE
The error log says all unrecognised has been put in note field.
None of the notes have been transferred-what am I doing wrong please?

Thanks for your help. My only problem now is how to deal with wills which are now marked as not post death. I can see what the program means because they are obviously made before death so maybe I need to alter the event to be something like probate.

I have tried to find the answer everywhere but just cannot find it. I have the possible problem plugin which has given loads of problems. I cannot find any info anywhere on how to mark any as not a problem.

Is threre a way of finding how many grand children, great grand children, etc a person has. Very simply please; I am finding great difficulty understanding half of this program!

The whole point is I cannot 'see' the window, even with all other windows closed, and it won't open however I try.
