I've downloaded the 2 'lookup' plugins, but have no idea how to start using them, and can't find any instructions anywhere. Please could you point me in the direction of instructions / or tell me how to use them, starting with the basics! Thanks, Ruth

Hi Mike - I want to reinstall FH on new PC. On old PC I have downloaded FH5 upgrade and still have registration key.

I didn't save the software download.

I can't work out from instructions in the knowledge base how to reinstall on new PC (Windows 8).

Is it possible to give me simple instructions?

I just turned my wifi off - yes ancestry app works with it off... but you obviously can't access the tips... and I have to say, having spent the last two hours playing with the tips, it's BRILLIANT - instant access to records without paying a penny and without having to do any searches...

Following advice, have downloaded GedView app (and yes, easy to save file in dropbox and then import)... what's disappointing is the really restrictive family tree diagrams. I assumed there were settings to change no. of generations etc., but no. There's a gap in the market for an app which can show...

It's OK - I've worked it out - realised that the duplicates referred to multimedia and source records - so have deleted duplicates... all sorted...

I've got myself in a muddle with adding new info. to a gedcom file, and the information isn't now in my project file (prior to this the project file was the most up to date version of my research)... they both have exactly the same name... why isn't the project file showing the updated information? ...
