Thank you Mike, I now have Birth & Death working but the Marriage comes up with 'Invalid Expression', I've tried working it out but not had any luck, can you put me right please.

Well, I wouldn't have bought FH from reading that review, such a lot of mis-information and half understood 'facts', I hope that it hasn't done more harm than good.

That you Tatewise, having same name records in the wrong date order had always annoyed me, hopefully now they will display correctly.

For a couple of people I know the date that they moved house so just for these few people I want to change the words in the Resident Fact from 'she was resident in' to 'she moved to' however I don't seem able to get rid of the word 'in', can anyone point me in the right direction please. Thanks everyone, I think that where I was going wrong was that I was dragging and dropping my files into Dropbox, whereas if I copy and paste my work stays on my computer.

I don't think that they've finished updating their website yet as some of the headings still refer to version 4. I've ordered the update and that won't be in until Wednesday or Thursday.

I think that we all have our favourites, personally I much prefer FMP to Ancestry. I don't know much about FMP's free trial but Ancestry ask for your card details up front and if you forget to cancel your proposed sub. you are locked in for a year.

I see that it is March now, [cry][cry][cry], but I would rather that it is more or less 'perfect' rather than have lots of updates to correct silly little errors.[smile] It is so hard being patient. [wink]

Under 'Preferences', 'File/Load Save' you can set up an 'Autosave', if you exit before this time is up you will be asked if you want to save changes.

PS Under 'Preferences', 'Backup' you can set up your default Backup folder.

I'm sure that Calico won't release until they are sure it is ready, but I must admit that a few more teasers and maybe a screen-shot or two would help keep us under control!
