Re: How to underline Given Name Used on Diagram
A lot of good suggestions here. Nevertheless as long as I have understood, there is currently no option to pick up one of the given names to be underlined. I agree with Lorna, I see Tony more as a nickname. I agree sometimes the nickname is so strong that I could even consider it as a given name, bu...

How to underline Given Name Used on Diagram
Hello Everyone. I am working hard to improve my Diagrams on Family Historian adding Test Scheme, backgrounds, etc. But I am not getting one important thing for me. In Germany it is very usual for people to receive many given names. But only one of them as the actual given name used during their life...

Fan Chart Customization per person
Hi Everyone, Is there any way to customize Fan chart cells to have different colors? I would appreciate using conditions like we have in traditional Diagram charts to customize each cell to color according to a particular fact each person has. Something like this app does for FamilySearch. https://f...

Re: How to Merge Address with Place
Hi Mike, Well, I kind of gave up using addresses and I believe I will handle better using only places in my files. Regarding columns, I do not have any strong rule for Addresses and Places. My data covers many different countries, so for each one the amount of columns varies. That is why I just want...

Re: Export only DNA linked relatives
Hi Jane, I have tried your custom query adding all ancestors (without ticking spouse box) and after adding the descendants. :-) I got 5,502 people. The same output from the pre-existing query "Relations, Excluding Relations by Marriage". I believe they do the same task. Regarding the siblings. You a...

Re: Export only DNA linked relatives
Hi All, Thanks for your prompt responses and support here. As suggested by Mike, let me clarify a little bit my request. I need do add only people that may share DNA with myself. This would exclude a lot of people from my tree, as Lorna has well explained. E.g. 1) My father has married three times. ...

Export only DNA linked relatives

Re: Merging "Source" with its related "Where within Source"
Hi Mike!!! It is working pretty good! It will save me a lot of time. The final Result Set list is just great to help understanding what has been updated. Some old Source records did end up with no citation at all and I have followed your suggestion deleting all of them. Thanks a lot again for your s...

Hi Mike! You have raised very good questions and concerns I have not thought about before. I do not recover using citations to any other records... ;) 2) My citations that have Where Within ...

Re: Help to create a query - list of all (Where Within Sourc
Hi Mike,
At the end I am actually trying to merge the Source title and Where within Source citations, as I posted in the other query Merging "Source" with its related "Where within Source" (13530).
Search and Replace does not helps on that, I guess..

Pedro

Re: Help to create a query - list of all (Where Within Sourc
Thanks for the clarification.
That was what I suspected.
I am not familiar with creating plugins. Maybe I need to learn that also.
What I will try is to merge both Source and Where within Source.
Maybe that makes my task easier.
I have just post a question about doing this...

Removing Sources from Names
Dear Colleagues,
A long time ago I started adding sources to my ancestors names.
Now I regret that, since I only add Sources to event facts like birth, baptism, marriage, etc..
Does any one knows an easy and quick way to delete / unlink sources to names?
Regards,
Pedro
