Thanks for the suggestion, Jane.  That is certainly do-able, but I'd still like to see a standard solution within the package.

I really like adding 'B&B'-type icons to my diagrams.  The meaning of many are obvious, but not all.  Accordingly, it would be useful to be able to add a legend either to a diagram or to be printed as a separate report.  A prerequiste would be the ability to add a description against each flag that ...

This is already a reasonably well-supported item on the wishlist (Undo/Redo under the General category).

GEDCOM Census is a terrific utility that I am glad to use - thanks Nick. However, wouldn't it be fantastic if this functionality were available directly in Family Historian. I guess that this is what was meant in the wish-list item 'formal data entry'. If Family Historian had entry forms for censuse...

Every time I enter a particular 1841 census entry I get a Run-time error 9.  I have succesfully entered other census information before and afterwards.  I have re-booted my PC and still get the same error. YEs, that's possible, but I don't really want to add lots of dummy entries to my GEDCOM.

I would like to see a real pedigree chart. This differs from what is available in Version 3 in that each direct ancester has a box even if the identity of the direct ancestor is not known. These empty boxes readily show where more work is required.

Thanks for the suggestion, Jane, but I've tried %FAM.WIFE% and is gives exactly the same result (ie picks up the details of the first wife even though the name of the second wife is displayed).

Any other thoughts?
