The FH version currently downloadable from CP's website is v7.0.1.2

I've reported to CP the three errors in the Help file for "Mouse Shortcuts – Mouse Wheel".

I loaded Lorna's Test Project.ged in FH, deleted the question marks, and they did not reappear.
I also looked at the GEDCOM file in PSPad's Hex editor and the smart quotes and question marks all had the expected coding.

I was on FH 7.0.0.10 so I've now updated (taking only a few minutes) to FH 7.0.1.2 (evidently the current version). The smart quotes are still being displayed correctly with no extraneous “?” on screen or in a report.

Smart quotes are just UTF-8 characters like any others and can easily be typed using alt-0147 and alt-0148 (or alt-0145 and alt-0146 for single quotes). If I hold down the CTRL key the mouse wheel scrolls up and down.

One of Jane's plugins (currently “DISABLED”) was Add GRO Source.

IrfanView has facilities for storing descriptive text in the metadata.

I've just checked my GEDCOM file, and it contains a few examples of “smart” quotes, some from as far back as 2009. They've always displayed correctly (with no extraneous “?”) in FH6 and in FH7.

Thanks for this update, Mike, which I've now used to revise my old plugin "Clone any Record", following a request from a keen user. However, I am more than a little puzzled by Copy Child Branch Fields which was updated at least twice yesterday and now contains four occurrences of "<wbr>".

What is the context of your rejected "2 FORM jpg"?

CP clearly knew how to produce Reports as text-searchable PDFs in FH5 and FH6. Why have they forgotten for FH7?

FH Diagrams (and FH Help for that matter) can all be printed/saved to PDFs with searchable text. And this problem with Reports and Books is new to FH7.

This morning the message is "Geocoding service is currently not available".

Might <span …> work better than <div …>, or is that not an option?

I agree with RS3100. I have also tried a variety of PDF printers. The problem is not within NovaPDF. CP have accidentally or otherwise changed the way reports and books are output from FH for printing or saving as PDF. And I've tried the RTF route, but the printed layout is significantly inferior.

Would it not be enough for a transcript of the certificate to show the married names?

Alt T Q will only find the Quick Family Facts plugin if that plugin has been added to the Tools menu. There is a tick-box for this if you click More >> on the Plugins window.

A workaround that seems to work OK is to insert a non-printing character before the <para> or <br>. I've used zero width joiner by entering "U+200d" via AutoHotkey. Alternatively, you can use copy and paste from Zero Width Joiner.
