Help I have just updated to Version 6 but the Record numbers in the main Focus Window are not showing , How do I get them back or is this now part of the update.

Upgrading to new computer
I have just upgraded to a new computer running windows10, I only have the discs to load up-to version 4 as i brought the upgrade to 5 as a download. I have the reg Key Order no etc, I also find I can load the old tree data but none of the media files etc that i had. Can anyone help.

I have been using Gedmill to consruct my tree for my website http://www.peterdriver.net . I am finding problems when I try to update /Change my tree. I use filezilla an the means to upload and manage my ftp files produced by Gedmil. My Host server has looked into this problem and has sent this reply...

I have re-installed the latest up-grade, biu still get the message that the PDF file output is not enabled. upto a couple of weeks ago the PDF on nmy computer worked well with family Historian, I can still open PDF files held on my computer, How do i enable it in FH

Help, When I save / export or any part of a Gedcom file from FH, if I try to open it in its 'Gedcom' format in another application, all I get is a message that this file is not supported on 'System32'

Thank you , This sounds fine to someone who Knows what they are doing, all I have done is open Gedmill and put in the path to my tree, I will have to find someone who can understand what you are telling me to do !.

[oops] I am trying to remove all living people except myself from a copy of my tree in order to create a tree for the web. (I do not want to publish anything about living people as I would not be able to get all of their permission's) Is There a Query or another method that would allow me to do this...

Thank You I have tried this as I am trying to use 'Gedmill' to create a ffamily tree for my website, But it does not appeare to work. Gedmill loads oi , then aborts. I do not know why.

When I export a gedcom file , When I try to open it I get an error message XXXX.ged is not a valid win32 application file, and previous exported files now get the same message.
