Thanks for quick reply Jane. You are correct the icon has no border. I was wondering if that was the problem. I will add a border (stroke) in Photoshop and let you know the outcome.
Many Thanks !!!

Flag Icons not displaying properly on tree diagram
I have been adding icons onto my family tree diagrams to show censuses, BMD etc and have been using 'Jane's Icons' downloaded from this site. I have had no problems and it has been extremely useful to have these displayed on the tree diagram. I created some new icons with Photoshop Elements (similar...

I have created images of census records and linked these multimedia records to source records. Whilst I can view these images from the Individual record window I cannot access these images from the All Properties window that I display by 'right clicking' an individual on the diagram. Transfering data to laptop

I will then have this data available to view on my laptop wherever I go researching. My desktop pc at home will always be the master copy wh...

Conversion of tif to jpg and increase in file size
I have read various threads regarding converting tif to jpg files and have successfully used the IrfanView software to do it which I found on this site. (Excellent software) My problem is tif files downloaded from the 1901census. When they are downloaded they are about 170 Kb as soon as I convert th...

Downloading GedCom file from www.familysearch.org
False alarm - I had been looking in the wrong place. A census event had been created for the individual so the data structure was as follows: Individual Census Source Data Text from Source The information I was looking for was in the 'Text from Source' field.

Downloading GedCom file from www.familysearch.org
I have just extracted some records from the above site and used their download facility to create a GedCom file. The downloaded file, which is version 5.5, loaded beautifully into FH however I noticed that certain fields ie Occupation, Age, Sex, Address were not transferred. When I looked at the Ged...
