Re: AS search very very slow
The records window is instant on searching as you would expect. I don't have IBM Rapport ( although I used to have it but took it out) Turned off the BT Mcafee real time scan but that made no difference. So I opened task manager and tried shutting down various potential programmes one at a time to s...

Re: AS search very very slow
Well I tried it in safe mode and it works fine, must be some conflict elsewhere as you suggest.

Re: AS search very very slow
Mike, Yes indeed thanks I do mean the Find name and Find ID. My bad on the versions, I am using the latest versions and update them religiously, AS V5.2.0 64 bit and FH V6.2.7 on Windows 10 V1803. My desktop is high spec with i7 processor, SSD and 16GB RAM. with separate storage drives for data. The...

AS search very very slow
Can anybody point me to things to look at to explain why AS is running very very slowly when searching for individuals, I didn't have trouble historically and don't believe I have changed any file locations. It seems to have major problems when indexing people through the search task prior to select...

Re: Opening Error
No its not large. I don't think I have run AS on this project before. I ran the file validate with no errors. From memory I imported and then validated before starting work on the file but I haven't been working on it for a couple of months. The reorder data found very little to fix. AS fault.JPG St...

Re: Opening Error
I am using FH v 5.09 and AS v 4.01 The error happens when loading AS from both the plug in or from the programme stand alone. As will open other projects so it must be this one project. I have run the stats plug in and don't see anything obvious. On uncategorised data I do have a lot of entries that...

Reload media to
I have noticed in my project external file links for media that most are shown to the project data/media file but quite a lot are showing to other drive locations. Can I force FH to recopy all media and links to the project data file. I think this may have been answered before but couldnt find it. t...

Record Flag duplication
Well I have part solved the issue, I had the 01 census showing the 91 census icon.
BUT - I still have two flags showing after adding a 1911 census entry through AS.

Record Flag duplication
I have started to use ancestral sources today and found that it appears to have duplicated all my previous record flag census entries adding UK to them. Problem being some entires now show two flags for the one census while others dont. Can they be merged ? http://www.fhug.rjt.org.uk/images/uploads/...

V4 and Gedcom census
Does Gedcom census work with v4. I have tried to use census but it naturally wants to open a gedcom file which no longer exists. If I try to open the new equivalent project file then census doesnt want to play. Having imported my v3 files to projects in v4 and worked on them I cannot now go back. ID...
