Idiot that i am the names were not the same. In one I had labeled Birth Certificate and in the other I had put Birth Cert.
At least it's clear if anybody else does the same daft thing!Simple or what!

Thanks for the prompt reply.
In my ignorance I don't seem to be able to grab the screen but it has got two flag tabs. One for birth with a red dot and one for marriages with a green dot.

In V3 I didn't get round to using icons on diagrams but with V4 I wanted to put icons on a diagram to show if I had the birth, marriage or death certificate. I flagged the records and can see that they are flagged in a column of the records window. I then in the diagram options set a boxes condition...

I have downloaded the program but when I try to run it I get a small window saying no people selected.
Any ideas what's wrong..........or am I just thick!!
