How do I transfer FH (Version7) Program/data
I am about to replace my current PC Windows10 to a new PC running Windows 11. How can I best transfer my Family Historian program, Version 7, and all three current data/projects. I think I have the Licence Key which Calico Pie provided by email on 25th May 2012 when purchasing FH version 5 Upgrade (...

Importing vch file
A colleague has sent me a file, containing a family chart, having a vch suffix. Is it possible to import it into a new Family Historian project. I've tried the 'New Project' route but this seems to require data in a .ged file. Alternatively, is there any other way of opening this file so I can simpl...

Printing problem V4
Thanks for the suggestion. Re-booting did not remove the problem nor has a system restore before the date of installing FH v3 (of course it's v3 not 4, my mistake.) I'll install the new driver and see how that goes. Otherwise it looks like I need to get a registry guru to clear any unnecessary subk...

Printing problem V4
Just moved to v3 - but that may be a red herring. This problem doesn't seem to...

Copying Records Window to an Excel spreadsheet
A mental block! I want to copy the Records Window data to a Excel spreadsheet. I've done this once but can't remember exactly how - I think I made use of the Query facility.
I'd appreciate a blow by blow account of how to achieve this.
Sorry to be such an old buffer! Peter

Entering home addresses
Forgive me, I'm a novice user and this query is probably basic in the extreme! I wish to know the preferred method of entering home addresses for individuals. Frequently the source of addresses (e.g census) is dated and I'd like associate the date with each address change. The ability to show the ...
