Re: missing pdf first pages Parallels Desktop Windows 10
I think I've found a solution to this problem. On page 103 of the Parallels Desktop 10 user guide it states the following: "To create a PDF file, select Parallels PDF to Mac Desktop when choosing a printer. A PDF file is saved on the Mac desktop." So from the report tab in FHv6 chose Print... and se...

The thing that puzzles me is that when I create a new project it works fine so far. even if I restore a project it fails on the pdf first page. St...

missing pdf first pages Parallels Desktop Windows 10
Hi all, Good to be back! Running FH v6 in Parallels Desktop Windows 10, on a Macbook Pro My problem: Publishing any report - I can see all pages on the panel in FHv6 but when I save the report as PDF the first page of the report is always missing apart from the headers and footers. Even if I print a...

History of changes from given date
Hi all,
I have had a request from a family member asking if I can supply a list of recent additions or changes to records etc.
Is there a way that I can list all additions or chages to records from a given date so that I can pass on this info please?

Hebrew Language Support
This is wonderful Jane, thank you, it works a treat. I can't read Hebrew either but the translator shows the English original if you roll the mouse over it.
I think I can publish this as an alternative and will get feedback from our Hebrew speaking relations.
Thanks again

Backups - general query
Hi Ralf, I noticed you mentioned PDFs. As far as I thought FH doesn't create PDFs does it? I always keep all my back ups out of habit, but I don't suppose I'll need to restore any of the earlier ones. I have about 130 and they take up about 58 MB, so this day and age that's not that much I suppose. ...

Different gedcom files for each family name?
I just wondered what others are doing when it comes to family tree gecom files. Do you create a separate gedcom file for each family name? I'm wondering what people advise in terms of good practice and from experience please?

SUZANNE6 OSTROFF (HAROLD BERNARD5, ISAAC4, TZVI/HERSCH/BAINISH (BENJAMIN)3, ISAAC2, UNKNOWN1) I notice that this facility is ...

Images path has changed on Windows Vista
I have upgraded to Windows Vista. When looking at any diagram that includes multimedia images previously linked to records all image links are broken. This is due to the path change that Microsoft has enforced with Vista. An example is that there no longer exists C:documents and settings etc. this h...
