I have just loaded my Version 5 onto a brand new laptop and the toolbar buttons are so small I cannot see them.
Not sure if the attached shows it too well, but this is how they look.
Any ideas?
Thank you

Gedcom - Entering details
Thanks for your replies - yes that makes sense. Just one more thing - if I add people who are in that census, from the right hand list into the Record ID list at the bootom will it automatically add the census record (ie Source Text to that persons own record. If not you would surely have to type ou...

Sorry if Gedcom questions don't belong in the Usage Forum, but....... I've just started using Gedcom and I, not sure what to put in the Source Text box. Surely everything you need to put in goes in the boxes below that? (Rec ID, name etc) The Help file suggests putting all the names ,occupations etc...

A good book

Are there any really good books to help me progress further. Nothing too elaborate (or expensive) - ...

Different results from 1901 census and ancestry.co
Example - I search for Florence McDonald in Mile End Old Town on the 1901 census site and it will give me the ancestor I am looking for. However, I do a search for Florence McDonald on ancestry.co.uk and she doesn't appear at all. Is the data for the two sites different? Does this mean I will have t...

Stepchildren
Problem - I think. My wife has two children - thus my step children and I have put them in as her children (with her first husband). If I do a diagram of all relatives they don't appear. Does this mean I have to put them in twice, firstly as her children and secondly as my step children, in order fo...
