It's not as simple as that. I already tried that and if you do an Ancestor and Descendant chart, it ends up adding back in other descendants that are already on the diagram. I tried deleting them individually but it won't let you...it just deletes the whole thing. Can I not create a custom diagram t...

Yorkshire wise...I have family in Brandsby (they are Wedgwoods so I'm wondering if there's some link to the pottery people although I've not found one yet!)...and also other various places such as Bawtry, Cantley, Middlesbrough, Branto...

Thanks Jeremy. Very useful. One part of my direct family are all from Greenwich/Plumstead (SE London) and Kent so I'd guess that the London records offices you mention could hold info on them. Another part of my family are from Yorkshire though so perhaps I might have to order info from local office...

Thanks for that. I'm fortunate that a lot of one half of my family seem to have all come from very near to where I live so local offices might be a good next step.

Thanks for your help. I've found that option in the diagram menu - I take it that's what you mean? It seemed a shame for only 2 people to be missing off my family tree so that's why I wanted them on there. Mind you saying that - I've since found she had a sister so doing an ancestry tree now misses ...
