Thanks Jane, why didnt I think of that, it has helped me for now but still dont know where he got marriage from, also when I change the 1 to a 2 as he says in families the date disappears.

Hi Tim You are being very kind and patient with me, I am trying to do this as a Christmas present for my parents, but just cant get this finishing touch. Is there any way to have a family group sheet showing only birth marriage and death details of parents children i.e. date and place of birth. I cant seem to get it without census details, residence, occupation etc. and it makes it a long report. I have family summary ticked and show dates with names...

Does anyone know if there is a way to ask Family Historian programme to set out your family tree so that it fits in say an area 6ft by 3ft automatically by readjusting all the boxes. At the moment it says it is on an area about 22 ft long, I can reduce it but it becomes harder to read. I have over 7...

Thanks Jane, I just need a query detailing the dates of birth of individuals without a baptism date. Can I do this on the same query. I seem to be getting mixed up with the add ifs, nulls, matches etc.

I have managed to create a query for people who dont have baptisms but I also need dates of birth and maybe place for those same people, but it doesnt seem to work for me, what am I doing wrong, or can anyone talk me round it, any advice appreciated.

When my machine crashed out, I reinstalled Family Historian programme with the backup of the project and noticed that it hadnt backed up the custom queries. It looks like it doesnt back up all the custom queries, is there a way to back up queries or am I doing something wrong. Anyone any ideas, than...

The ability to create a Family Tree CD is a brilliant idea, but is there any way to put a diagram on the disk as well as reports. The only way I can see is to copy the PDF file over, is this the way to go, it is just that it would be nice to have it in the programme. Otherwise, as I say a brilliant ...
