I am having exactly the same problem.
It's the first time I have tried to use this plug in so I don't know if it's a new problem.

Could you manage one in Crete as well.
Seriously, where and when would you be likely to hold the courses? I am coming to UK in July and could be interested depending on actual date and venue.

Roger,
Thank you for asking the question.
I had created the same situation and was getting frustrated solving it.
Your query appeared as I came on here to ask for help.

Recording a graduation ceremony....how?
I Googled Colin's phrase 'screen recording software' and it came up with this
http://camstudio.org/ which is free.
However, I know very little about computers and even less about screen recording software so it may be completely rubbish.

Second marriage
Sitting on the fence a bit here.............. maybe it depends on what you are proposing to do with your tree. If the tree is not available publicly, then I would include the details - the marriage was a fact and, however much your family member might want to, she can't change that. If the tree is t...

Individual death record apply to family
I have created Custom events for
Death of spouse
Death of Mother
Death of Father
Re-marriage of parent
to cover these eventualities.
As you say these are important events in a person's life and it's interesting to record them.

Maggie

If you click the Baptism menu icon it changes to say Baptism next to it - presumably to highlight whether you are working with Census or Baptism.
Or am I looking at the something different from you?

Splitting Tree
There's a tutorial here
http://www.fhug.org.uk/flash/fhsplit.html
entitled 'Exporting information using Split Tree Helper'.
I think this should do what you want.

Marriages Discussion
Debbie said: I have created an Event/Attribute called 'Marriage Witness' and a sentence that reads 'He/she was a Marriage Witness on in at the wedding of [then I complete this bit myself]'. Probably not at all the correct way of doing it, but I wanted to record the fact that a relative attended a m...

Scottish Census reference no.
Thanks, Adrian, for your reply.
The Parish: Panbride; ED: 4; Page: 29; Line: 5 option seems a good one but would make the source title very long!!
I may just put any reference info into the Note box in the source.
Regards,
maggie

I was sure I had posted thanks to you for the new link - obviously forgot to hit the 'Send Message' button [oops] Anyway, I successfully followed the link and completed your survey. Like the others I liked the time line and the interactive fan chart. Will you be reporting back on any of you findings...

I'm not sure if i should ask this here or on a more general board. but as I use AS to enter my Census records I'll ask it here. I have recently moved into the realm of Scottish Census records from Ancestry. What I am not sure of is what reference to put in the 'Ref. ID' box in AS. Do the HO & RG...

Any clues?

Nick, I told you I was stupid!! What I should have said was: In Gedcom Census I chose the Image Title 'Same as Source Title' and ticked the box 'Rename file to match title?'. Today, as an experiment, I entered 2 censuses using Gedcom Census with these options and the images were re-titled. I then en...

In Gedcom Census I chose the Image Title 'Same as file name' and ticked the box 'Rename file to match tile?'. All my images were duly re-titled to match the Census record. In Ancestral Sources I have follwed the same procedure and chosen the same options. However my images are not being renamed. I a...

Upgraded to v4 - Have I Been Done?
When I first up-graded to V4 I couldn't see the point of the Focus Window. But, gradually, as time has passed I have come to use it more and more. I like the facility of finding out, quickly, the relationship between myself and the person I am dealing with. It's also the best way I have found of add...

Sorry if this is insulting, William, but you have actually attached the icon to a person have you? [smile]

No offence meant.
