Family Historian User Group

Never gave the background workings re updating that much thought but that explains why sometimes the update is quick and other times not. It is being triggered by the auto-save in FH.

So all I have to do to trigger the update immediately of Gedcom Census is click on save in FH.

I am using Gedcom Census 6.0.6; FH 4.02; Win XP. I have experienced a run time error referring to modal and non-modal issues on several occasions. Is there any way of adding an Assessment of a source to an entry in the Sources Pane so that the assessment will apply to all links to that source rather than having to add the assessment to each individual reference via the Property Pane?

Solved...all I did was include the Census attribute and link it to the source census record.

I could do that but I thought that - as there was a feature in V4 which auto imported them into the Media Folder when I upgraded from V3 - then that same feature may have been made available to users to simply convert the ones which I (and others?) may now want to move into the Media...

How? That really was my question as the basic rule with using the tool you suggest is that it does not physically move the file but merely relabels the link to where it is. If I want to not only relabel the files but physically copy them into the Media folder how can I do it using this 'Work with......
