In the records window I have a column for relationship to root but I have noticed that there is no difference in the relationships between my mother's adopted family and her birth family. Is there any way I can flag up the adopted relationships to differentiate from the birth line?

Thank you both for helping me fix this. The plugin now works OK. Jane, I rarely post to any forum because there is usually someone out there who has already asked the question. I love FH but haven't been using it much over the last few years and am only now getting back to doing some family history....

I recently installed the Ancestors UK Census Checker plugin and when I ran it for the first time I stupidly asked it to connect to MS Word instead of my usual browser (Senior moment)and now all the plugins bring up Word instead of an internet browser.
