Family Historian User Group

I am visiting shortly an AGRA researcher to help me. I have 1 Laptops and a stand alone. The laptop and Standalone both have v 5.09. The Laptop is very heavy and I am wondering if I can transfer any of the data for my visit to the retina Ipad I have ( a lot easier to handle)

As per other mails I agree not to favour splitting GEDs etc. Is there a way that if you create say a Descendant diagram that the appropiate files for the individuals could create a GED file. What a great tutorial !!! Would it not be a good idea to open a dedicated tutorial folder ?? It could then be linked also on a desktop to be clicked to go straight to the tutorial folder. The one could open 2 windows on your computer ..one for the relevant tutorial and one for your Family Historian ...

Thank you. The video I had never found before and was VERY useful.
I essentially wanted to do just 2 things
1 Just move one (single box ie person ) in a Family Group.
2 Move whole diagram Higher up to the top of the paper before printing.

Surely this brings up the fact that a query is required to find any fact that has no date or info written to it

here is a cutout of the query '2'

It now agrees to the total produced to the Occupation List.

Underneath the headings and the underlining and before the total line appears '2' in the total column & '2' in the others column what is this please ??

Sorry the look up per name per occupation then might reveal a spurious date !!

I did not know the format for putting in the unknopwn spouse I used X (forename) x Surname and for others I used Y (forename) y surname etc. rather than just having unknown everywhere and to distinguish each one...or is there another solution ??
