I am visiting shortly an AGRA researcher to help me. I have 1 Laptops and a stand alone. The laptop and Standalone both have v 5.09. The Laptop is very heavy and I am wondering if I can transfer any of the data for my visit to the retina Ipad I have ( a lot easier to handle)
Thanks

As per other mails I agree not to favour splitting GEDs etc. Is there a way that if you create say a Descendant diagram that the appropiate files for the individuals could create a GED file. The number of times family and friends want a GED file not the whole of my project. The split basis is quite ...

Jane's video on Google+
What a great tutorial !!! Would it not be a good idea to open a dedicated tutorial folder ?? It could then be linked also on a desktop to be clicked to go straight to the tutorial folder. The one could open 2 windows on your computer ..one for the relevant tutorial and one for your Family Historian ...

Scams with FHU attached
I am suddenly getting lots of mail which says
'suddenly my life has become worthwhile' and comes from email addresses as Joe bloggs@xxxFHU
Are these scams ? I have not opened them but it might be a valid thread ??

Tree boxes moving
Thank you. The video I had never found before and was VERY useful.
I essentially wanted to do just 2 things
1 Just move one (single box ie person ) in a Family Group.
2 Move whole diagram Higher up to the top of the paper before printing.

Hi Jane & Mike I use Roots Magic Family Treemaker & Family Historian. Each program has its pros & cons. I am dedicated to Family Historian mainly and the only item I find hard to control is the moving, manipulating of the boxes within a tree. I do not know if this has been raised before but is there...

Thanks a lot.
I am happy with the 1.2 version as it is.
Please leave in this state for my research.
But an additional query for the blank fields (not an adjusted query above) would be welcome with the reult ABOVE the totals
Thanks

Fine Thanks
Surely this brings up the fact that a query is required to find any fact that has no date or info written to it
