Try validating your file in FH before copying it to FTM, that should find and fix any errors

Have you downloaded AS 3. This now has a reduced minimum width which may help.

copy your expression & replace the number (1) with the number (2) will pick up 2nd marriages (3) will pick 3rd etc.

Personally , I would reccommend 1 source = 1 expression. That way you can have different Icons for each if you want.

Does the speed at which the program runs at depend on which project you are running (if you have more than one)?

how long has your computer been on before running FH?
I know that my XP machine takes about 30mins before it will run at a decent speed and its a 2.4Ghz quad core

FH is quite happy with your project folder being anywhere you like, as long as you tell it where to look. On the startup screen choose {more Tasks}, {project List}, {Choose Location..}. Based on what you have said, then shouldn't the custom attribute be for an individual (Not for a family as Tommy has).

I would enter the information as given, with a note on birth and baptism records about your thoughts on the descrepancy

That's the way I do it.

Or for the child add an alternate name in FH, then make it the primary name, then do the AS entries. Once back in FH revert the names. Diagrams will then show the main name and underneath will (can) show aka [secondary name] if the correct text scheme is used

That works well, however these conditions 'Must' be placed higher than the 'Sex' option to work

I wish these examples were in the help file, instead of just the fileroot() examples.

If you select a person the click on the media icon on the toolbar (Not the one in the property box), there are two options
View All Media
View media for selected person

I had a similar problem uploading my IOM templates and icon files. They were too big, but there was no warning, just nothing seemed to work.

I can't speak for other's, but I use Ancestral sources for entering my Baptism and census (and soon Marriage) data. I stay with the spelling in my file, then create the auto text entry for citation text and amend the spelling there to reflect the original source. Using AS you can also save an image ...

The only time you can view Focus and spouse facts together is when you are on the {Main} tab. The only facts viewable this way are 'Name', 'Birth', Death' & 'Marriage'.
The {Facts} tab only ever shows details of the focus person or joint details from the point of view of the focus person.
