I already use AS to enter Probate records using the death entry method with a suitable Autotext template (Which I can post if anyone is interested).
I then manually change the source created to Type=Probate and manually add the probate location , date and value of estate and link to the same source.

Re: Error Message when Copying Project
It is actually a known windows problem. Windows will allow the long name at one level (Creation) then complains when you try to delete , move or copy.
I have also moved my documents folder from it's default location to a shorter path name, The default location can consume a lot of Characters.

Re: Error Message when Copying Project
As a work around, try renaming your "Family historian Projects" Folder to "FH Projects" or similar. You will need to re-point FH at the "New" project location. I know this only knocks 14 characters off the file path, but it could be enough to make a difference.

Re: Automated internet Marriages lookup
Hi Mike,
I appreciate your point, I was just making the comment that the use of bef "baptism Date" for birth date can yield odd and unexpected results, and and also stops the "ageat" function producing results.

Re: Automated internet Marriages lookup
Mike, I have have found that age estimation does not work at all if the DOB is recorded as bef YYYY. I used to use bef "Baptism date" as birth date if no other evidence, but when building queries this meant that individuals were included who common sense shouldn't be. EG a query to find individuals ...

Hi Mike, Solved: I had last used the plugin on my Desktop computer and not run it before on my laptop. The path to the export folder is absolute, so when run on my laptop, that path does not exist. On Desktop, My Documents is D:\My Documents. On Laptop it is in the default Location under Users on C:...

Hi Ann,
In the filter box at the top of the records window, just type in Pickeri and the record list will show only those records that match (including both variants)

I don't use UK as a country in AS. I have separate countries set up as England, Wales, Isle of Man, Scotland. This enables me to better name the sources and display different Icons for each county. Also the Welsh 1891, 1901 & 1911 and the Isle of Man 1901 & 1911 census had an extra column for Langua...

When doing Batch entries in AS I always disable autosave in FH (I have snapshot disabled as well) as I used to get your symptoms because the FH autosave was upsetting things.

MBE OBE etc are Titles, as they entitle you to put those very important letters after your name. So I would use the Title attribute in those cases.

Re: Upgrading to FHv6
Just install the upgrade over your version 5, all your settings will be retained. If you still need to use V5 on another computer then you also need to make a copy of your project for V5 as the V6 data is not liked by V5.
