Re: Census & BMD collection
Ancestral Sources DOES work with the trial version of FH, it is just the plugin to start it (Which is not vital, but makes workflow easier) that will not work with the trial version.

Re: docking property box problem
How were you trying to "Dock" the property box Ray? Were you dragging it to the right hand side of the screen and letting it go (A windows operation), or were you using the "Dock / Float" feature from within FH. Re: Fact sentence
Thanks for that Mike,
I have 30 instances of such Marriages, although one of them is actually the same couple married each other 3 times (With other spouses each in between).
Mostly, (In the Isle of Man anyway) before 1900. All the English ones are after 1907

Re: Fact sentence
Is there an easy way to create a query to locate such marriages? or are we into plugin territory.
I am certain I have maybe 20+ such marriages, long before the dateline, but possibly different rules applied in the Isle of man.

Mike's method, using Edit> Find and Replace, will also correct the occurrences in source transcriptions (if used) at the same time.

Get your computer expert to Move the special windows folder's (Documents, Pictures, Videos, etc) onto your data drive. These are where most programs expect data to be, so will use them automatically if they are on your data drive.

Do remember that the backup must be restored using the FH Restore route, you cannot just double click on it to open it.

The plugin looks for the existence of an individual census fact for each census year, and only lists those without such facts. Family census facts are not used.

It is possible to Manually edit the flag file, but I would make a copy of your original first. It is located in C:\ProgramData\Calico Pie\Family Historian\Flags and is called Flags.fha Right click and choose open with.... notepad, ensuring that always open with ... is unticked. Mike,
If I remember correctly, when FH saves, it saves to a temporary file first, then deletes and replaces the original file., so it could be a permissions issue?

He would usually write a description of the couples wellbeing (...

Either:
On the property box for either individual, just under the marriage line
or:
Double click on the marriage line in the focus window.
Status box is on the line under the marriage entry
