Help Translating Mexico Death Certificate

Bad handwriting, and lack of knowledge of (I Think ) Spanish, has made translation difficult.
Father (Page 124) and Son (Page 125) Died of Fractured Skull in Plane Crash 3rd July 1961
Any help with the rest of the details greatly appreciated

Re: Insert today's date

Peter, that is why I use today's date on the citation. To provide me with an "Audit Trail". When I look at an individual's Birth record for example, and can straight away see what dates that I got the relevant sources. Prime example would be if I got 1939 register over a year ago, it would be time t...

Re: Create Records Using AS v5.2

AS does not hold any data. It is just a "Front end" that edits the same Gedcom file as FH directly. This sounds like you are adding to a different copy of your Project/Gedcom file. If you use the Ancestral Sources Data Entry plugin whilst in your project, this ensures that your data will be entered ...

Re: Splitting an individual record

Use the Plugin called "Clone any record" to create a duplicate record.
Compare the 2 carefully, and then delete the appropriate records from each individual as required (I have to do this quite often)

Re: Uploading GEDCOM files

Just a thought about the opening from the desktop. I haven't got FH on the computer I am on at the moment, so can't test it. If you double click on the icon, it should open the project window as is happening. If you open FH first and use Gedcom tasks... open gedcom, it should work. It is not somethi...

Re: Who should you add to your tree?

Like others, I always research everyone as far back as I can (I have over 80,000 individuals in my file). From my own personal experience: My Father's Uncle Doug, died in Blackpool in 2004. I knew all about his father, but almost nothing about his Mother. I then found his mother's Parents which turn...

Re: FH 6.2.7 Randomly closing

I was having problems on ONE of my computers only. I had reported this to Calico Pie (#859385) but they were unable to help then as it was completely random. I have now pointed them to this post as others are experiencing the same problems. I never use the internal browser. The program sometimes clo...

Re: Marriage Licence wording in Records Window

The UK uses both spellings depending on context.

In the US, use "license" for noun and verb.
In the UK, use "licence" for the noun, but use "license" for the verb.

Re: Age Field Missing in Property Box

If you use AS to enter a burial record it bypasses the Global (2) setting that Mike mentioned.

[Mike's comment: Yes, it is effectively using the All tab bypass effect by acting on the GEDCOM file directly.]

There are better free products such as: Heredis supports Witnessed/Shared Events, Media, but not UTF-8, also iOS and Android apps, but some limitations. Re: Change census date from Year to full date

If you have recorded the census as a census event, then the date checker in AS can do that for you.

See ancestralsources:tutorial:tools:census_flag_date_tools#census_date_check|> Ancestral Sources > Census Date Check.
