Re: Details missing from named list
Mike
I simply clicked on the list that comes up when you click on the configure columns!
Which would then give I assume the details from Calico Pie as it is part of the standard set
for the date that is - %FAM.DIV[1].DATE:YEAR%FAM.DIV.DATE:ABBREV2
for the place it is - FAM.DIV.PLAC

Re: Rearrange Address and Place Parts 1.6 Errors Out

Nothing obvious shows up when looking at it in Excel There are a couple of supplementary issues with the places but I will raise them as a separate issue after it is resolved as not related Thanks for the effort in advance No major ...

Re: Rearrange Address and Place Parts 1.6 Errors Out
Mike I have just tried using the "rearrange address place parts" plugin on my master database I had simply selected the "Shift all places left" and clicked the perform button The original database is from TMG and has the address incorporated with the place hence the 29,000 place mind there are 35,00...

Re: Address issue with entering census
Mike Yes I meant Place - having ported the database from TMG address and place are all in the same field and I don't intend to split them As you say would make sense for FH to merge the two when the revised file was re-opened So still the question as the why AS is not recognising the address in the ...

Address issue with entering census
I was trying to add an entry for the 1911 census for a family but whilst the address was in the Family Historian database did not appear when I start to enter it in AS I have checked the address in FH and it appears to one of a small number that has a 0 in the use count. Obviously one that I had use...

Re: Search and Replace version 3.3 strange result
Having had a good look at the offending entries it would appear that they all had a "use count" of zero and the vast majority had other entries So I took the plunge and deleted all the place with a 0 use count - happy bunny now Thanks Mike and next time I'll do some house keeping inbetween rather th...

Search and Replace version 3.3 strange result

Re: Importing from TMG - Family event vs single event
Have been through and checked both in FH7 and TMG and I only have one other event in TMG that does not convert I seem to remember reading either in FHUG or the mailing list that it is a known issue That is a Civil Partnership which took place in 2020 and is in fact has been a legal form of marriage ...

Thanks for the reply - I will check carefully through the fact that I am importing as to whether there is anything else - not aware of any that I can think of
A couple I would have changed manually and maybe even 100 but 3,500 is a little much!

Re: Importing from TMG - Family event vs single event
I have just been going through for a final time before making the switch to FH7 from TMG I had been doing some tidying up using the “change any fact tag” plugin and wondered why it wasn’t appearing. I have a TMG tag which I created was a clone of the Marriage fact and for marriage registrations has ...

Couple of minor issues with 7.1.3
Both I think were actually there before 7.1.3 1939Register and census come to that If you enter a man who has been married twice it shows him as a W even though the second marriage was before the date of the census - not insurmountable as you can change it marriage record When entering a marriage po...
