Google search isn't too bad. It seems to be the pages full of text which load slower.

I'm connected via a local wireless system, so speed is faster than dial-up but slower than broadband, so anything that slows it down becomes very noticeable.

Thanks Jane. I had to disable all the Panda options before FH would load. I then closed FH and enabled the Panda options, and FH still loaded OK. So presumably Panda does something at bootup.
