Text in Narrative Reports
I know that I am probably doing something incorrectly, but having typed in a Census, my first one, and looked at it in the Narrative Report for the individual concerned, the Text is all over the place. I used Tabs to create the columns and even rejigged it in the Source pane but still no joy. Is the...

Scanning photos and documents for FH
What is the best setting to use for scanning photos etc for use in the Narrative Reports please. Some of the ones come through clearly, but some especially the ones I have linked to faces come out really blurred
Thanks very much

Pictures in reports
Yes as I say I have linked them both to the person and the source, which presumably is the correct way of doing it. I am wondering though why they aren't all printing under the 'individual' narrative and in order. I am not so worried about the duplication, but would prefer them ideally printed under...

Pictures in reports
I have had a look and altered them in the All tab and deleted all reference to dates. They now appear in the correct order under the Sources section of the Individual Narrative, but in the actual section of the Individual narrative not all are appearing and all are in the wrong order. I am at a loss...

Thanks Jane, I am still puzzled about the order of the photos though.
If anyone has any ideas I would be grateful.

I have created a custom attribute for 'MilitaryService' and a source number, in my case, as 0005. I have over 20 pictures which I have loaded and numbered from 0005a to 0005w all based on date 0005a being the earliest. All are linked to the same source and same individual. I can see all the pictures...

Linking images to existing sources
Thank you Bilko and Jane for your explanations. I was hoping to use the gedcom census to add the images but the problem is that my gedcom file contains over 380 individual sources and when I try and use the gedcom census it doesnt let me edit the source number to reflect the relevant one in my file,...

Linking images to existing sources
I know I am doing something wrong, but I have been trying to link a census picture to an existing source and the individuals concerned. I have tried via the media window where it links to the source alright, but when I click on each individual in the property box and click media there is nothing the...
