If you refer to my earlier message with the same subject, starting 19 May 2006, I was trying to show the christening date if no birth date, and buried date if no date of death. This worked at the time, but not any more, I am now getting all four dates, if available - is it because of the upgrade? In...

Gedcom Census
I have some census entries I wish to enter using Nick's programme, but in some cases there are people who seem to be related, but I haven't got them on my database yet. I can enter those I already know, but how do I get back to the input form to enter the other people when I have traced them and ent...

Diagrams - Baptism date in place of birth date
If you look at the query dated 24/5/06 started by me, and headed 'Diagram Text' I think this will give you the answer - assuming you are using Version 3 - it certainly works for me.

I am trying to get the christening date shown in a box, but only when there is no birth date. I have ticked the 'only output if previous line blank' but this does not seem to do what it says i.e. I get both birth AND christening if I have both. I also want to do the same for death & burial Please ad...

When I use the Census text box in diagrams, some of them are listed out of order. Could this be caused by the order in which I researched, and loaded, the censuses? If so, how do I get round this?
Jeremy
ALSO, can you remind me how to send an e-mail to the FH forum. Thanks

Is there a way to list individuals linked to a particular address? I have come across an address I know I have seen before, but I can't find out where it is!

I note that, when sorting events into date order, any that are 'cal' or show the quarter plus year, are shown at the end of the list. Presumably this is intended, but I would have thought it better to show these in the correct date order - is there any way I can achieve this, as I don't have exact d...

Somehow I seem to have achieved a situation where the second wife appears on the first tab in the 'Main' properties - how can I get them into the correct order? A 're-order out of sequence data ' attempt does not affect them. This is a repeat as the first post was lost in the corruption. Jeremy ID:1...

When ever I go to edit the text boxes within a diagram, the box bottom left ALWAYS defaults to 'save as default'. Normally I do not want to change the default if I am just exploring different presentations - is it possible to have the default NOT to 'save as default' so that I am not caught out? Jer...

Thanks for that Jane - I am glad it was so easy! I am finding it useful when looking at Census entries where you don't know the wife's maiden name.
