And I should have said 'thank you for such a prompt reply as I was practising because I am going to a Record Office tomorrow and want to be able to use AS there'.

Yes, sort of. My first mistake was to try to enter the mother's name directly into the box.
However I didn't go to the residence tab until I had filled in the main tab.
I tried to work through it again, not trying to save and the minister was listed on the auto text.

Yes, the father did appear in the father box.

Another query is that when I tried to save the minister's name, I was told that there was no individual or was that referring to the laack of godparents?

Is there a way of using the baptism part of AS to enter the baptism of a child who is already a child? When I entered the marriage of Hugh Hay to my 2xgreat aunt I also added his father and used this to identify his baptism. But when I tried to enter the AS record to FH I was told a record already e...

A short time ago there was correspondence about 'associated individuals' but, like a clot, I didn't copy it. Now I want to use it but can't find it in the manual. Is the list archived and, if so, where can I find it please?
