I have returned to FH after rather a long gap. I have entered a census record but when I checked the tree I found I had entered 3 children as 3 brothers of their father. How do I correct this please?

I've been away and have started the process of moving AS to my new pc. Everything is saved to Dropbox. On my old pc the 3 AS files are clearly stored on Dropbox. On my new pc the location of the AS files has been automatically filled in as Onedrive. Should I delete these and write in the Dropbox loc...

Thank you both for your advice. I think I shall keep with the 32-bit. I haven't done anything about moving previous data over as I am away from home. It is all stored on Dropbox and I shall deal with it when I am home again when, who knows?, I may end up with further queries!!

I've just discovered that my new laptop is 64bit and I have downloaded the 32bit version. I haven't used it yet so should I uninstall AS and install the 64 bit version or just leave it alone?
As you will have gathered I am not very computer literate relying on nephew and nieces for advice!

Thanks, Mike. It seems to have been an insitu upgrade as everything in FH seems to be normal. I'll try your advice on getting a free upgrade. Apparently it also works if you go through the "assisted user" path but your way sounds easier.

My desktop was poorly and was upgraded to Windows 10 as a last resort by the technician. (It seems to have worked) However I didn't upgrade my Netbook which is still on 7. I'm afraid I'm being rather dim as I can't find the "age" field in the Birth event. I should perhaps add that this is a French record where still births are registered as deaths.

I have tried to enter a still birth as a death but as there is no name, I can't proceed. Is it possible or do I need to enter the details outside AS?

i've used the descendent's diagram but as Jean Daniel had 3 wives and so many children I thought a layered diagram would allow it to be on one page thus making it easier to display in a pamphlet. Is this not possible?

Having carried out further research, I have tried to layer the descendent diagram but it doesn't seem to want to change. I have attached a copy of the Diagram Options Box and the descendent diagram. Can you help please?

It's nearly there. There are no longer any dotted lines but Simeon's two wives are now on the right although Adolphine's two husbands are showing correctly. I have uploaded the diagram and the property box.

I have 4 names preceded by a comma in the records window which throws out the alphabetical order but they aren't showing when I look in the Property box. What have I done and how do I correct it please?
