3. Plugins installed themselves into "tools" menu so will have to remember to run.
Many thanks Jonathan.

backup and restore
I have run the two plugins "check and repair media" and the "backup and restore" with backup option on lap top. I will transfer these to my desktop that has a full backup regime of its own using Acronis (also used to backup laptop disk). I do have two media files not found but can fix that later. I ...

Re: age at marriage on chart
Thanks Mike looking good as per picture below. I guess if I tweak NAME:FIRST%: then more of the names would be displayed. That is for another day.
Kind regards Jonathan.

Re: age at marriage on chart
Thanks Mike,
I have gone for
%CUR~FAMS>MARR.HUSB%
%CUR~FAMS>MARR.WIFE%
Otherwise I get two "his age" and two "her age".
Would be nice to swap husband and wife names for actual names although I can go with the current solution.e.g. Charles age 24.
Perfect.

The expressions I have for marriage are as below and have been cloned from a standard text scheme with no changes:- The cloned expressions are: =ExistsText(%CUR~FAMS>MARR%,"Marr:") %CUR~FAMS>MARR.DATE:COMPACT% in %CUR~FAMS>...

Re: Diagrams & custom source
Thought I had posted a reply here. Reverted to your expression Mike and now added addresses and notes to baptism and birth events; perfect. =ExistsText(%INDI.BAPM[1+]%,"Bap:") %INDI.BAPM[1+].DATE:COMPACT% in %INDI.BAPM[1+].PLAC%=CombineText(", address: ",%INDI.BAPM[1+].ADDR%,,)=CombineText(", note: ...

Re: Diagrams & custom source
Thanks Mike works perfectly. I did mean to add the expression but forgot. Re: Diagrams & custom source
Mike I think I am now getting to grips with this. Tried your expression and result as I expected. Age label displayed on chart although census label dropped. Whilst inspecting the chart display noticed that there was no space between two parts of the expression result. On examination of the expressi...

Re: Diagrams & custom source
Had another thought regarding backups. On each exit of FH I do full backup and also application (Acronis) OS and data backups. For these custom text schemes do I need to consider other backup schemes?

Re: Diagrams & custom source

Re: Diagrams & custom source
I was using queries to understand the syntax of the expressions and still trying. Yes I dropped the all events for the diagram and selected one close to what I was after as you recommended. I have then added my custom items. I am only using custom items in the modify text although cloned the standar...

Re: Diagrams & custom source
Hi Mike, I removed "the all events" from the "edit text scheme" in the diagram options. This removed some erroneous data in he diagram and is working fine. I then created events and custom queries for the events "congregation" and "OSOTPoor". These were then in the "edit text scheme" as options to s...

Re: Diagrams & custom source
Hi Mike,
I have attached a screen shot of the diagram that shows the entry "overseer of the porr 1813" although no the text of the entry. The second attachment is an all records view including the text.
Help very much appreciated.
