Yes, Library membership is for Gale collection, I also use FindMyPast but the OCR quality is very poor and gives disappointing results.

Fact properties - change to Post Death
Hi Jane
If I do either of those what would happen to existing records that have the fact in them, do those facts disappear or do they stay put?

Fact properties - change to Post Death
I have created a couple of facts that are Post-death but when I go into 'Working with Fact Sets', click on the fact and go to properties the 'Normal Time Frame' box is greyed out. How can I change it?

I want to create links to faces from a photo, I am in Multimedia Window but only the Simple Link icon in the toolbar is active. Link to face is greyed out, as is the convert simple to face. Where do I enable these icons?

If his father was a Doctor, he may be mentioned in directories, this would give you an idea of where the family was living.
You can look on Ancestry or http://www.historicaldirectories.org

But when you go to vote it plainly says vote 0 if it is of no interest, if a zero votes is not counted then the wording should be amended

When voting for Wish list items it says vote 0 if it of no interest, so that is what I did. Do I have to increase my vote to 1 to show that I am definitely not interested? It seems a bit backward to me, surely 0 votes should be taken into consideration since it is a valid vote. I suppose I can go th...

Amazon link
Hi Jane,
I know this link makes money for the website so I am raising this subject again. The link is not working in the same way as before, itcloses fhug instead of opening amazon in a new window, also the url is different and I don't think you will be getting your money.

Since so much extra information has been added to the Home page, the Amazon link no longer stands out as it has lost its black background. It is there and it does work, but it is not so easy to find.
I know using this link generates income for the website so I think it should be prominent.

I bought myself a Flip Pal, it is amazing, I can't believe how light it is. I also followed the link to Barry's Blog, and I now have two boxes, one for my family and one for my husband's. It took me 3 days to file everything because I kept noticing things, seeing things I had forgotten about and so ...

Mult Families, Same Page
If they are not related I would do two separate entries linked to the same multimedia. I put a note on to say so and so lived next door or was on the same page If they are father and son you could do it as one entry. In 1901 my grandparents were on the same page, aged 5 and 2, but my grandmother's f...
