I agree with the people who say keep a careful record of sources and ask older relatives about the mystery people in photographs.

Yes, but if you have them in a note you can always create an individual record later.

Yes I stay logged in to FHUG however I suspect my daughter may have changed some settings while she 'borrowed' my laptop during her last visit - I will work through them.

I have done that and it has a tick next to it. I even tried re-installing the toolbar and it has made no difference.

Hi It might be worth looking at Ancestral Author, it can either produce a pdf format document for you with as many inserts of pictures, charts etc as you want, or if you prefer you can save it as a text document which will contain the information from your ged file, but allow you to edit it and then...
