Searching within a diagram (Simon Orde)
This is useful , it highlights the person you are looking for, but it is not what is being requested. If I have understood the requests, including my own, we wanted a FIND tool that would reposition the diagram to the selected individual. It is precisely because we DO have such large diagrams that n...

Source Citation on Descendant report

Which ever radio button I select the source citation data that I have configured appears at the bottom of the report with endnote annotation on the detail record. One of the options, and the one which I b...

Report Details

I find it very useful as a means to pass on information where a diagram is insufficient and too large - mine is currently 490+ A4 pages and growing - but I can only extend its list of events and attributes. When recording certain even...

I have a relative in my diagram who has married and adopted the spouses child but that child does not show in the diagram. Do I need to do something special for the child to be shown or is this a bug?

Finding people in Manchester
Parish records for churches will tell you if they were Christened, married or buried in Manchester not wheter they were living there at a specific time. If your ancestors were in business they might be in a trade dirctory such as the ones produced by Kelly. The subscription fee for Ancesrty.com (for...

Finding someone on the diagram view
Please can we have a means of navigationg to a named person when in the diagram view. When the tree becomes very large it is very difficult to navigate and splitting the tree is not always an option.

Half-siblings - more problems
Having read through the thread on half-siblings started by dolbyjones in July of this year - I was having the same problems - and applying the suggested solutions, all the children appear but not on the correct level in the All Relatives diagram. In the all relatives diagran, centred on a child of t...
